Met een ronkend hammond orgel, scheurende sax, groovende gitaar, fat bass & funky drums spelen The Skepticals een mix van diverse stijlen: boogaloo, New Orleans, mod-jazz, spy-fi en rhythm 'n blues. Het repertoire bestaat veelal uit eigen composities, waarin zo nu en dan ook de theremin rond spookt. Onlangs verschenen 2 tracks op vinyl: 'DIABOLIK' (Tardam Records / AcidJazz) en 'CHILLS' (Amsterdam BeatClub vol.3, Sonic Rendezvous). Verder zijn er opnames gemaakt die op het punt staan te worden gereleased.

With a heavy Hammond organ, honking sax, grooving guitar, fat bass & funky drums, The Skepticals play a mix of various styles: boogaloo, New Orleans, mod-jazz, spy-fi and rhythm 'n blues. The repertoire mostly consists of original compositions, in which sometimes the eerie theremin is used. Recently 2 tracks were released on vinyl: 'DIABOLIK' (Tardam Records / AcidJazz) and 'CHILLS' (Amsterdam BeatClub vol.3, Sonic Rendezvous). Furthermore, recordings have been made that are about to be released.
