Armando Cairo heeft sinds de jaren '80 ontelbare optredens gedaan, zo speelde hij ondermeer 4x op het North Sea Jazz Festival en deed hij optredens in de VS, oa. The Hartford International Jazz Festival en in Baltimore. Armando's grote tenor-geluid en mooie fraseringen doen nog het meeste denken aan die van saxofoon-legende Dexter Gordon.

Met zijn quartet wisselt Cairo bebop en swing standards af met eigen composities, zijn sets staan garant voor een avond puur jazzplezier!

 Armando Cairo has performed countless times since the 1980s, including playing 4 times at the North Sea Jazz Festival and performing in the US, among others The Hartford International Jazz Festival and in Baltimore. Armando's big tenor sound and beautiful phrasing are most reminiscent of those of saxophone legend Dexter Gordon.

With his quartet, Cairo alternates bebop and swing standards with his own compositions, his sets guarantee an evening of pure jazz pleasure!
